This privacy policy applies to the PitShop Management application (herein referred to as "Application") for mobile devices. The Application is provided as a Free service and is intended for use "AS IS".

The Application collects and processes data through our secure FastAPI Backend to provide garage management services. This includes:

• Account Information: Name, email address, mobile number, and password (encrypted) for authentication.
• Garage Details: Business name, address, GST information, and UPI ID for invoice generation.
• Vehicle & Service Data: Registration numbers, vehicle models, service history, and jobcard details.
• Device Information: IP address, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for security and performance monitoring.

2. Mobile Permissions & Media Access

To provide its core features, the Application requires access to specific device functions:

• Camera: Used to capture photos of vehicles for jobcards, scan barcodes/text using ML Kit, and capture signatures.
• Media/Gallery: Used to upload existing garage logos, saved signatures, or vehicle documents from your device storage.
• Notifications: Used to send service reminders, status updates, and important administrative notices.
• Internet Access: Required to synchronize data with our FastAPI servers and process garage operations in real-time.

3. Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes trusted third-party services to enhance functionality:

• Google Play Services: Core Android functionality and security.
• Firebase (FCM): Used for delivering push notifications.
• Google ML Kit: Used for local text and barcode recognition.

These providers may collect information used to identify you. You can find their privacy policies on their respective websites.

4. Data Security

We prioritize the security of your data. All communication between the Application and our FastAPI backend is encrypted via SSL/TLS. We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect your personal and business information from unauthorized access.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us at pitshopmanagement@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

This Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
